After we dispense with the ToEE I'll be starting GDQ, each element of which will be further north and the entrance to the Underdark may actually turn out to be the Sunstone Caverns right on the doorstep of Thunderhold. Currently, I am leaning towards all of the evil priests in the area being devoted to Bane, the LE god of tyrrany, though Bhaal's CE god of murder is also tempting. The gem merchant in Hommlet (T1, #15) is married, and his wife stays up at the keep (B2, 7a). Of all the merchants, the only one I can't really justify this small village having two of is the gem merchant, so I'm combining them. Canon Terjon is the local head of the church of Helm, with the curate in the keep being Rufus (the Castellan) and Burne's (replacing the elf advisor) chaplain, also to Helm. not quite as balance-oriented, but a good sort. Cuthbert is replaced with Helm, while Jaroo will be devoted to Chauntea. the map of Hommlet has that keep about 150 feet bigger than the Keep on the Borderlands, so it works well. Just north of Hommlet you'll see a red skull, that's where I planned to place the 'Caves of Chaos'. I made this map using the one that comes with T1-4. I've not had the chance to do it yet but I'd planned to. I've always been a fan of this sorta thing.

Any suggestions on how to combine them smoothly? combining Hommlet and the Keep on the Borderlands, with Hommlet filling out the peopling of the Keep (and the town itself being just outside the keep), and the Moathouse getting stuck in the swamp near the lizardmen.
